Zubayr H. E.

Zubayr H. E. is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and grants management. Currently serving as a Senior Public Health Investigator at the Houston Health Department since December 2020, Zubayr has focused efforts in outbreak management and CoVid-19 surveillance. Additionally, Zubayr works as an Education Mentor at the Suhbah Institute, assisting displaced Afghan youth in acclimation efforts. Previous roles include leading contact tracing projects at Harris County Public Health and providing administrative support at Ameritex Health. Zubayr holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Psychology, and Health Promotion from the University of Houston, completed in 2016.
