Juan Cardoza - Oquendo

Juan Cardoza-Oquendo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy, community engagement, and program management. Currently serving as Programs Director and Director of Policy and Elections at Houston in Action since July 2021, Cardoza-Oquendo has previously held the position of Policy and Community Engagement Coordinator at Harris County Precinct One from July 2018 to July 2021. Earlier in their career, Cardoza-Oquendo worked as a Policy Advocate at Workers Defense Project from July 2012 to April 2015. Cardoza-Oquendo holds a Master’s Degree from The LBJ School of Public Affairs (2016-2018) and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Human Geography from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences (2008-2012).
