Maya Nicole White

Maya Nicole White is an accomplished associate producer at Houston Public Media since April 2023 and serves as the executive director for Mack Performing Arts Collective. With a strong background in photography, Maya has been self-employed in this field since February 2017. Previous roles include guest artist relations coordinator for Houston Cinema Arts Society and production coordinator at IYO Visuals, where responsibilities encompassed studio management. Maya has also contributed as a yoga instructor at both Meta Learning Center and Kinetic Vibez, and worked as a program assistant for DiverseWorks Art Space, focusing on administrative coordination of multidisciplinary art programs. Early career experiences include a line cook position at El Burro & The Bull and a sales advisor role at 24 Hour Fitness. Maya holds an Associate of Arts degree in Anthropology from Houston Community College.
