Head Of National Facility For Genomics at Human Technopole

Clelia Peano is an accomplished researcher and leader in the field of genomics, currently serving as the Head of the National Facility for Genomics and Senior Manager of High Throughput Sequencing Operations at Human Technopole since June 2021. Clelia has also been a researcher at the Institute of Genetic and Biomedical Research of the National Research Council since June 2017, where significant contributions were made to Epigenetics, particularly in ChIPseq experiments related to hematopoietic stem cell differentiation. Prior experience includes heading the Genomic Unit and Sequencing Facility at Humanitas Clinical and Research Center from April 2018 to June 2021, and a PhD student role at the University of Parma from January 2001 to December 2004. Clelia holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Parma.
