Sasha Parsons-Thorpe

Sasha Parsons-Thorpe is an experienced professional in the fields of employment support and substance misuse recovery. Currently serving as the Lead Employment Specialist and Team Leader at Humankind Charity since September 2017, Sasha leads the Action Towards Inclusion project in North Yorkshire, focused on assisting economically inactive individuals and those in long-term unemployment. Prior to this role, Sasha worked at Changing Lives from September 2011 to September 2017 as a Recovery and Mentoring Community Worker, providing crucial support to individuals dealing with substance misuse and facilitating recovery groups. Sasha holds a BA in Counselling Studies from York St. John University, with studies spanning from 2009 to 2011.
