Bart De Waele has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Bart started their career as a Process Engineer at Huntsman Corporation in 2011 and eventually became a Senior Process Engineer before moving on to become a Senior Project Manager. In these roles, they supervised and maintained focus for engineering and innovation teams, delivered innovative process architecture, and tailored catalyst for one-of-a-kind technology.
After their time at Huntsman Corporation, Bart worked as a Visiting Professor at KU Leuven, where they taught Quality Techniques such as 6sigma, lean, and project management. Bart also served as a Cluster Director - Energy Efficiency at ISPT - Institute for Sustainable Process Technology, where they successfully grew the cluster budget, increased the number of participants, and had projects approved within NL and EU subsidy schemes.
