Joshua Baculi is a Systems Engineer III at HX5, LLC, stationed at NASA Ames Research Center since August 2017, where an onboard decision-making framework for autonomous sUAS was developed to assess flight plan feasibility. Previously, as an Engineering Intern at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, Joshua designed a 3D printed reaching and grasping arm for a UAV. Additionally, Joshua was awarded a NASA Aeronautics Scholarship and completed a 10-week internship at NASA Ames Research Center while studying at USRA. Experience also includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for mechanical engineering labs at Santa Clara University and holding an Engineering Intern position at Pathonomic, focusing on 3D modeling and documentation. Joshua holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, both from Santa Clara University.
