Joe Geller

Joe Geller is an experienced professional in database performance specializing in DB2, with a career spanning over two decades in various high-profile roles. Currently a member of the Content Committee at the International DB2 Users Group since 2013, Joe has previously served as a DB2 Performance Specialist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2016 to 2023 and at Moody's Corporation from 2014 to 2016. Notable earlier positions include Senior DBA at The Fillmore Group, Inc. and a key role in a major database conversion project at JPMorgan Chase. Joe’s expertise encompasses performance tuning, data modeling, and architectural design for multiple database platforms, including DB2, Sybase, and SQL Server. Joe holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and has foundational educational experience from Bronx Science.
