Courtney A. Sanders is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in nonprofit and support services, particularly related to veterans and underserved communities. Currently serving as Program Manager for Illinois Joining Forces since April 2023, Courtney is responsible for developing and managing programs that align with the organization’s strategic goals. Prior roles include managing the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program at Catholic Charities, where responsibilities encompassed crisis intervention and case management for homeless veterans. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Engagement Officer at The Rally Point Program, engaging with vulnerable populations, and holding various positions in educational institutions focused on student affairs and enrollment management. Courtney holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
