Wai Nam Tam

Wai Nam Tam has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Starting in 1982, Wai Nam worked as a Software Engineer at Singer Kearfott and Kearfott Guidance and Navigation until 1985. After that, from 1985 to 1987, Wai Nam held the position of Software Engineer at Compact Software. In 1987, Wai Nam became a Member of Technical Staff at Bellcore and remained there until 1993. During this time, Wai Nam also worked as a Software Developer at Lehman Brothers from February to August 1993 and as a Consultant at Bellcore from August 1993 to February 1994. From 1994 to 1997, Wai Nam served as a Senior Development Engineer at Call Sciences. Joining IDT in 1997, Wai Nam worked as a Senior Development Engineer until November 2015 and then continued in the same role until October 2021. After leaving IDT, Wai Nam joined iconectiv as a Senior Development Engineer from August 2016 until October 2021. Additionally, Wai Nam worked as a Consultant at iconectiv from November 2015 to August 2016. Presently, Wai Nam is employed at Index Engines as a Principal Software Engineer since October 2021.

Wai Nam Tam pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Wai Nam received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1978 to 1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology, where they enrolled from 1982 to 1985.
