David Lockyer

David Lockyer is a seasoned software and systems engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Indra Renewable Technologies Ltd. since January 2021, David previously held roles as an Embedded Software Engineer at Chronos Technology Ltd. and as a Principal Embedded Systems Engineer at ETL Systems, where contributions included developing Yocto Embedded Linux OS images and collaborating on robust embedded solutions. David's early career at Arrowvale Electronics involved designing safety-critical electronic circuits and programmable logic for the rail industry. Academically, David holds a level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management from ILM, and has earned several technical degrees including City & Guilds qualifications in C++ and draughting, alongside BTEC HNC and ONC qualifications in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
