Akhil Nasser

Akhil Nasser has work experience as an Associate Data Scientist at Innoplexus starting in January 2022. In this role, they developed a Named Entity Recognizer (NER) and a Document Understanding and Extraction Algorithm to parse patient records and perform medical document classification. Prior to that, they worked as a Work Student at Helmholtz Zentrum München from August 2019 to January 2020, where they developed a Deep Learning framework to learn the latent distributions of geographic features and generated samples for the tomographic inversion problem.

Akhil Nasser completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Minor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computational Science & Engineering at the Technical University of Munich from 2018 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Akhil Nasser obtained certifications to enhance their skills. Akhil completed the "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production" course from Coursera in September 2021. In August 2021, they also completed the "Google Data Analytics Specialization" course, also from Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Microsoft Excel from Udemy in May 2018 and a "Green Belt in Six Sigma" certification from KPMG India in January 2016.
