Jim Chen, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience. From 2017 to present, they have served as Chief Business Development Officer for Innovative Health Diagnostics, where they have developed and rolled out multiple service lines and expanded the Sales Team and Patient Service Centers. Jim has also provided basic medical knowledge training support and general clinical consulting across departments. In 2019, they began serving as a Clinical Advisor for Joy Wellness Partners. From 2015 to 2017, they served as Resident Medical Officer for Northern Sydney Local Health District, where they managed patients in different healthcare departments and was involved in various clinical governance committees. In 2015, they served as Medical Student Tutor at the University of Sydney, providing weekly clinical tutorials to junior medical students. In 2014, they completed a medical student elective at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where they had supervised involvement in procedures and development of pain management plans. In 2013, they completed a medical student elective at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, where they provided immediate assessment and management of life-threatening injuries under the supervision of senior doctors.
Jim Chen, MD, MPH has a diverse educational background. Jim obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UNSW between 2009 and 2014. Jim then went on to earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Sydney between 2016 and 2018. In addition, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, such as the Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre, UCSF, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the American College of Surgeons, between 2016 and 2018.
