Sandra Cardoso (SCPO)

Sandra Cardoso (SCPO) has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sandra began their career in 1999 as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Air Go Intersoftware. Sandra then worked as an IT Professor at Universidad Panamericana de Hoteleria from 2000 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Software Developer at Goit Merk.

Sandra then joined RGH Servicios as a Senior Software Developer from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they also volunteered at the Social Integration and Assistance Institute, where they worked as a Software Developer, Analyst, and Project Manager.

In 2008, they became a Project Leader and Senior Software Developer at Lumnia, a mobile IT consultancy firm, where they managed a team and led various PDA-based customer projects. Sandra continued in this role until 2011.

From 2009 to 2012, Sandra worked at Expert Delivery Service & Logistics as a Project Leader and Senior Software Developer. Sandra played a key role in automating Nissan Mexico's PDC and identified areas for IT implementation based on internal business processes.

In 2013, they joined Astro Servicios Informáticos, SL as a Senior Software Developer and Business Analyst. Sandra provided IT consultancy services, analyzed customer projects, developed backend and frontend code, and documented use cases.

Sandra then moved on to Vanderlande, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Sandra contributed to the development of software solutions in this role.

Most recently, they worked at Insikt Intelligence, first as a Project Manager from 2018 to 2019, and then as a CTO, Engineering Manager, and Product Owner from 2019 onwards. As CTO, they were responsible for the overall performance of the team and the management of individuals.

Sandra Cardoso (SCPO) pursued their education in various fields related to technology and project management. In 1994, they obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering (BEng) from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, specializing in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.

In 1996, Sandra completed a course in Advanced English for Business at Hammersmith and West London College in London, UK. Sandra then pursued further training in Effective Listening at the Social Integration and Assistance Institute (PPAM-Pensamiento, Palabra y Acción en Movimiento) in 2006. Additionally, they completed an Introduction to Neurolinguistic Programming course at the Universidad de Turismo y Ciencias Administrativas, A.C. in 2004.

Sandra's interest in agile IT management led their to take a course in Agile IT Management: Scrum, DevOps, Lean IT at UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in 2018. Later in 2020, they attended another course at the same institution, specializing in IT Project Leadership and Management.

Recently, in 2022, Sandra completed a self-paced course titled Curso de Preparación para la Certificación SCPO® ¡A Tu Ritmo! (Scrum Certified as Product Owner) at EIGP, Escuela Internacional de Gestión de Proyectos. The course focused on project management in the field of information technology.

Sandra has also obtained certifications in addition to their formal education. Sandra became Scrum Certified as a Product Owner in January 2023 through EIGP, Escuela Internacional de Gestión de Proyectos. Sandra acquired the Lean IT Foundations (LITAF) certification from G2, Gobierno y Gestión de TI in April 2018 and also earned the Lean IT Foundation Certificate from Lean IT Association in the same month and year.
