Carl Ross has over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Carl currently serves as the Sr. Director of cGMP Operations at Integrated DNA Technologies, where they lead the operations in the development of next-generation genomics medicine capabilities. Carl works closely with managers, directors, and executives to establish strategic plans and objectives for manufacturing and materials management. Carl is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and maintaining a constant state of inspection readiness.

Prior to their current role, Carl worked as a Principal Consultant at Phase Bio, LLC, providing expert consulting services for biotechnology manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, and facility design. Carl also has experience as the Managing Director at Waisman Biomanufacturing, where they developed and managed a contract manufacturing organization for the production of cell and gene therapies, vaccines, and recombinant proteins.

Earlier in their career, Carl held various positions such as Senior Scientist at Gene Medicine, Bioanalytical Testing Associate at Houston Biotechnology, Fermentation Manager at International Biochemicals Group, and Research Associate at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
