With extensive experience in healthcare fraud investigations, previous roles include Project Coordinator and Program Integrity Analyst, where responsibilities involved coordinating projects, policy research, and data analysis using tools like SAS and Business Objects. McWilliams has also held notable positions in the US Army as Chief Paralegal, managing legal support operations, and conducted in-depth investigations in the Organized Crime Division of the Chicago Police Department, collaborating with federal agencies. McWilliams holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government/Legal Studies from Illinois State University.
