Niels Van Rees

Niels Van Rees has a diverse range of work experience. Niels is currently the Co-founder & CCO at MDCS.AI, where they assist companies with infrastructure solutions for their AI workloads. Before this, they were an Associate and then Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Intellerts, leading the organic growth of the company and managing strategy, business development, sales, marketing, events, and alliances. Niels is also the Co-founder of AllAboutAI, a company focused on AI. In addition, they founded Boerenwijsheden, where they co-authored a management book and conducted workshops and masterclasses on High Performance. Their previous roles include Group CMO and VP Europe at CloudFX, Global Sales Director at The Regus Group, B2B Strategic Partnerships and Alliances at Samsung Business EU, Managing Director Benelux and General Manager Mid Market EMEA at Lenovo, and Director Inside Sales EMEA at HP/Compaq. Niels started their career as a Sales Manager Europe at Bose Corporation.

Niels Van Rees has a diverse education history. Niels earned a Master's degree in NIMA C - Strategic Marketing from NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing, from 1995 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Facility Management from Hogeschool Diedenoort Wageningen.

In 2012, Niels attended Beeckestijn Business School for Social Media Management. Niels also completed two short courses in Direct Marketing B and Direct Marketing A at NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing, in 1998 and 1997, respectively.

In addition to their formal education, Niels has obtained several certifications to strengthen their skill set. These certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in February 2023 and October 2022, respectively. Niels also completed the DGX Sales Curriculum offered by NVIDIA in March 2022.
