Aneta D’Angelo

Director Of Clinical Education at Interior Health Authority

Aneta D'Angelo has had a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education sectors. Aneta began their career in 2001 as a front line nurse in public health and acute care settings at Interior Health Authority. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a sessional faculty member at the University of British Columbia - Okanagan. In 2012, they became a professor at Okanagan College, teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Aneta then moved on to the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives in 2013, where they served as a Practice Advisor, providing consultation and education on nursing practice across the province. In 2015, Aneta joined the Interior Health Authority again, this time as the Director of Clinical Education, responsible for student placement, mentorship, and specialty education. Aneta also held the position of Patient Care and Quality Officer during their time at the Interior Health Authority. Aneta has demonstrated their expertise in clinical education, nursing practice, and quality improvement throughout their various roles.

Aneta D'Angelo completed a Fellowship in Health System Improvement with a focus on Organizational Leadership at the University of Alberta from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree from the University of Windsor in 2008. Aneta'sundergraduate studies were also completed at the University of Windsor, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse in 2001.
