Jennifer Bakken

Jennifer Bakken has worked in a variety of roles in the accounting and finance industry since 1997. Jennifer began their career at Arthur Andersen LLP as an Audit Experience Senior. In 2003, they moved to Keegan, Linscott & Kenon, P.C. where they were a Manager. In 2007, they joined Ventana Medical Systems as a Manager, Internal Audit. Finally, in 2008, they joined Intermap Technologies, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller. In this role, they managed the accounting and finance department, including foreign subsidiaries, and was responsible for financial analyses of operations, monthly closings and management reporting, annual and quarterly financial statements, accounting policies and internal controls, corporate compliance with domestic and international governments and outside agencies. Additionally, they provided technical accounting guidance and research for all complex accounting issues under Canadian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS, and managed the conversion from Canadian GAAP to IFRS.

Jennifer Bakken attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.
