Between 1999 and 2019, Anthony Stellaccio worked internationally as an artist, curator, scholar, and writer. His wide-ranging career includes work in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. While focusing on twentieth-century Lithuanian art for nearly ten years, Stellaccio authored a book on Lithuanian folk pottery, produced two UNESCO sponsored documentary films, wrote numerous articles, and lectured across the globe. Holding two master’s degrees in fine art and folklore, Stellaccio is also the recipient of two US Fulbright grants and a variety of other awards. Along with his freelance career, he held positions at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art and the Lithuanian Art Museum.
