Nicolas Delaunay currently serves as the East & Southern Africa Project Director and previously held the position of Senior Communications Officer for Africa at the International Crisis Group since March 2020. Prior to this role, Nicolas Delaunay accumulated extensive experience at AFP from January 2010 to March 2020 as a journalist, covering East Africa and serving as a correspondent in The Hague, reporting on various international courts and Dutch current affairs. Additional journalistic experience includes freelance work for multiple media outlets and internships at RTBF and La Libre. Nicolas Delaunay holds a Master's degree in Information and Communication from the University of Liège and a Licence in Modern Languages and Literatures from the same institution, complemented by studies at the University of Valencia and The University of Edinburgh.
