Chief Information Officer, Information & Communications Technology Services at International Training Centre of the ILO

Gaël leads the Information and Communications Technology Services at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization. He is a member of the Centre’s Management Team, a member of its Enterprise Risk Management Committee and a member of the Digital & Technology Network (DTN) which brings together the CIOs from UN System organizations to advise the HLCM on system-wide approaches to leveraging technology and functions as a forum to coordinate system-wide ICT policy and practices.

With 20 years of experience in ICT, he has a strong interest in how Information Communication and Learning Technologies can help the organization reach its objectives and, more generally, how it can contribute to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

He therefore collaborates with business partners to make sure that, in an increasingly complex and changing environment, IT projects & activities are strategic, cost-effective, prioritized and sustainable.
