Matthew McCartney

Matthew McCartney is a Principal Researcher specializing in Hydrology and Water Resources at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), a position held since 2002. Matthew earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wetland Hydrology from the University of Reading, completing studies between 1994 and 1998. Additionally, Matthew holds a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Hydrology from Imperial College London, obtained in 1988, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Science from the University of Lancaster, completed in 1987.
