Matthew Brightman

Matthew Brightman is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in the technology and startup sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Google since April 2019, Matthew leads the Google Maps Platform's Growth & Solutions teams and has achieved two promotions within three years. Additionally, Matthew holds the role of Entrepreneur in Residence at Invest Nova Scotia, where coaching has been provided to over 15 pre-seed startups. Prior positions include Product Manager at Fundbox and Vice President of Product at Mirametrix Inc., where strategic partnerships with companies like Lenovo, Intel, and Microsoft were established and a novel computer vision product was successfully launched. Early career experiences include roles at TandemLaunch Technologies, Moral Fibers (co-founder and CEO), and Developing Pictures (co-founder and VP Internal). Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Computer Science from McGill University.
