Chris Tacey-Green

Chris Tacey-Green has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Chris is currently the Head of Engineering at Investec, where they lead the engineering team. Prior to this, they worked as an Architect at Investec, building resilient event-driven systems for inbound and outbound payments using .Net, Angular, SQL, and NoSQL.

Before joining Investec, Chris founded and served as the CTO of ForAI, a startup that utilized artificial intelligence to analyze financial markets and predict price movements for autonomous trading. Chris developed the system from scratch, implementing various machine learning techniques using Python with Tensorflow.

Chris also has experience in managing and growing a startup cloud hosting company as the Managing Director and Senior Software Engineer at Critical Hosting. Additionally, they worked as a Consulting Software Engineer at Everest Data Centres, where they worked on projects involving the entire development cycle.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked in technical consulting services at BBS Commerce Limited, where they worked on various projects within a data center. Chris also gained sales experience as a Sales Executive at Goldsmiths, specializing in high-value products and key watch brands.

Chris Tacey-Green earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Manchester between 2012 and 2015. In 2021, they also obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft.
