Lacretia Phillips

Lacretia Phillips began their career in 2008 as a Compliance Intern at MassMutual. Lacretia then took on roles as a Recruiter Intern and Financial Advisor Intern. In 2009, they worked as a Relationship Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and as a Junior Home Mortgage Consultant at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. In 2016, they joined VALIC as a Compliance Analyst, responsible for daily trade surveillance, investigation of exceptions, trend analysis, production of reports, completion of certifications and questionnaires, preparation of regulatory filings, and creation and maintenance of compliance books and records. Lacretia also performed periodic review and testing of the adequacy of the firm's policies, procedures and controls. In 2018, they joined Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. as an Analyst, Compliance and in 2022, they began working as a Compliance Manager at iownit capital and markets, Inc.

Lacretia Phillips has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Texas A&M University, which they obtained between 2005 and 2009 with a focus in Finance and an emphasis in Accounting. Lacretia then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration - MBA from Rice University between 2019 and 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from FINRA, including Series 24, Series 63, and Series 7.
