Román Montalvo López

Román Montalvo López has a diverse work experience in different fields. In 2022, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at iPronics Programmable Photonics, where they developed software for programmable photonic devices. Prior to that, they were an intern at the same company, working as a Programmable Photonic Developer Intern. In 2021, Román worked as a Junior Researcher at the Nanophotonics Technology Center, where they gained knowledge and skills in silicon photonics through tasks such as characterization, design, and simulation of silicon photonics integrated circuits. Román also had an internship as a Presales Engineer at S2 Grupo, a Valencian Cybersecurity company, where they were involved in drafting cybersecurity services proposals and designing architectures for clients.

Román Montalvo López pursued their education at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2018 to 2023. Román obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Telecommunications Technologies and Services, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, both from UPV.

In addition to their academic degrees, Román Montalvo López obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they received a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from Cambridge Assessment International Education. Román also obtained a certificate in Time Management Fundamentals from the Project Management Institute in March 2022. In February 2022, Román completed the Deep Learning Onramp certification offered by MathWorks. Prior to that, in August 2021, they earned the Explore Emerging Tech certification from IBM, and in July 2021, they obtained the Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification, also from IBM.
