Shilpa Toraskar

Shilpa Toraskar serves as the Sr. Director of Engineering at IPSY since September 2021, following a tenure as Director of Engineering. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Engineering Manager at Walmart Global Tech from August 2018 to August 2021, where leadership involved the development of the Supplier Experience Platform to enhance supplier onboarding. Shilpa's extensive background at IBM from April 2003 to July 2018 encompassed positions such as Engineering Lead for IBM Watson Health, where projects included a cognitive chatbot and clinical decision support solutions, and Technical Lead for IBM Cloud DevOps Services, which fostered cloud practice methodologies. With earlier software engineering roles at Rational Software and eGain Communications, Shilpa's educational qualifications include a LEAD degree in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Bradley University.
