Gianluca Bufo

Since July 2015, Gianluca Bufo has been Chief Executive Officer of the company Iren Mercato. He was born in Venice on June 27, 1973, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua. In 2000 he joined the CFO area of ​​Eni Gas & Power Division, covering increasing roles of responsibility including Strategic Planning and Management Control. At the beginning of 2009, he moved to the commercial area, with responsibility for commercial planning, completing, in particular, the acquisition of the public shares of Toscana Energia Clienti and 100% of Sea Viareggio. Since the end of 2009, he has been Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, achieving important results in post-sales digitization, increasing customer satisfaction, and in reducing the cost to serve the 8 million gas and electricity customers. He completes the professional experience in Eni Retail Gas & Power in charge of the Italian commercial area since 2014 as Senior Vice President Sales. In Iren, he has been Director of the Market Business Unit since July 2015 of the Iren Group.
