Tony Goen

Tony Goen is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in systems engineering and operations management. Currently serving as a Contract Systems Engineer at Iridium since January 2015, Tony is involved in the Iridium Prime program, focusing on integrating third-party payloads with the Iridium Next Satellite Bus. Prior to this role, Tony held the position of Executive VP at KinetX, Inc., overseeing Phoenix Operations and Engineering, and managing programs along with quality processes. Tony also managed an engineering lab at Motorola, specializing in cellular infrastructure, and was previously the Engineering Manager for Motorola's Government Electronics Group. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 1973 and 1977.
