Lizbeth Gonzalez is an experienced clinical research associate currently working at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center since May 2021, focusing on optic neuritis research. Additionally, Lizbeth contributes to the AMILDA Feedback Program Study as a research assistant at the University of Michigan-School of Pharmacy since September 2020. Lizbeth has held multiple research assistant positions, including at the University of Michigan Medical School since September 2017, and has served as an E-Advisor for the Center for Global and Intercultural Study since August 2019. Prior research experience includes a role at the University of California, Los Angeles, where Lizbeth characterized and grouped significant metabolites related to genetic control, and a researcher position at the Royal Veterinary College, London, investigating hypoxia's effect on glioblastoma cells. Furthermore, Lizbeth has experience as a peer mentor with Michigan Research and Discovery Scholars and as an engineering intern at Facebook. Lizbeth holds a degree from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, completed in 2021.
