Harald Friedel

Harald Friedel has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple sectors. Harald is currently working as a Project Manager at ITSS since March 2022.

Previously, Harald worked as a Consultant Smart Metering at neo technologies SA from March 2021 to August 2021. Harald'srole involved project management in the Smart Metering field, focusing on intelligent Measuring Systems (iMS) and products like Landis+Gyr Advanced Metering Management and SAP.

Prior to that, they were an IT Consultant at Optimatik AG from September 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they provided IT Security and Data Protection consulting, project management, and customer support in the energy supply sector, specifically in intelligent Measuring Systems (iMS) and products such as Landis+Gyr Advanced Metering Management and Fröschl ZFA.

Harald also has experience as an Investigative Agent at Bottomline Technologies EMEA from August 2013 to November 2016, and at STERCI SA from December 2012 to July 2013. In these roles, they worked in the Banking sector, investigating incidents and problems related to software, financial message flow, database, and SQL, among others. Harald also worked as a Project Manager at STERCI SA from August 2008 to December 2012 and as a Consultant from May 2007 to August 2008, focusing on project management, software deployment, and upgrades in the Banking sector.

Harald's earlier work experience includes Field System Engineer at Comverse Technology, Inc. from December 2000 to December 2005, where they provided on-site customer service in the telecommunication sector, and as an Electrical Engineer at Cern from April 1995 to November 2000, where they managed cabling projects for particle accelerators. Harald began their career as a Software Engineer at Ricoh EFDC from November 1991 to March 1995, specializing in software modification and product presentations in the telecommunication sector.

Harald Friedel attended Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation Technology, specifically a Diplomingenieur (FH) degree.

Harald has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In May 2006, they became an Oracle Database 10G Administrator Certified Associate. In February 2007, they completed the Prince 2 Foundation certification offered by APM Group. Additionally, in May 2007, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Most recently, in July 2018, they accomplished the PECB Certified Data Protection Officer certification from PECB.
