Jon Overton is an experienced professional in the surveying and engineering field, currently serving as the Managing Director of Surveying Operations at J2 Engineers, Inc. since September 2015. Additionally, Jon is the Owner and Operator of Overton Surveying, LLC, established in March 2018, which provides surveying, mapping, and consulting services in the Eastern Panhandle and surrounding states. Jon's previous roles include Vice President of Surveying Operations at Millman National Land Services and Director of Surveying at both M.A. Engineering Consultants, Inc. and Soltesz, showcasing a strong background in managing diverse surveying operations in various regional and national firms. Jon began a career as a Project Surveyor and Project Manager, demonstrating expertise in state highway and aviation projects. Educated at Virginia Tech, Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences.
