Dan Hoag

Dan Hoag currently serves as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at The Jackson Laboratory, a position held since 2021. Prior to this role, Dan Hoag had a lengthy tenure at The MITRE Corporation from 2001 to 2021 as Associate General Counsel and Chief Privacy Official. Earlier experience includes Senior Legal Counsel at Kronos Incorporated (1999-2001) and Assistant General Counsel at AECOM (ENSR Corporation) from 1996 to 1999. Dan Hoag began their career as an Associate at a legal services firm (1994-1996) and served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Federal Judicial Center (1993-1994) and a Law Clerk at the U.S. Federal District Court (1992-1993). Dan Hoag holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.
