Jackie Awerman

Jackie Awerman is a seasoned entrepreneur and professional with extensive experience in the fiber arts and corporate sectors. Since January 1993, Jackie has owned YARN DANCES, a business specializing in knitting and hosting initiatives such as the Knit2Quit(c) smoking cessation programs and Knit 'n Nosh fundraisers. In addition, Jackie founded JAA, INC. in May 1982 and held the position of Senior Projects Manager at Intel Corporation from 1997 to 2003. Earlier in their career, Jackie served as an HR, OD, and Training Consultant/Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1974 to 1982. Jackie is an alumnus of Cornell University.
