Patrick Rooze

Patrick Rooze is an experienced engineer with a strong background in control systems and project engineering. Currently serving as a Group Project Engineer and Plant Engineer at Cloetta since March 2017, Patrick has accumulated extensive experience in process automation during tenure at Cloetta België from May 1996 to June 2021. Prior roles include Control Systems/Software Engineering at Cegelec from 1994 to April 1996, where responsibilities included managing turn-key projects in the automotive industry for major clients such as Opel Belgium and VW Vorst, as well as overseeing shutdowns in the chemical sector for companies like Bayer and BASF. Earlier experience includes control systems engineering at FOS Engineering and Contracting from August 1989 to 1994, focusing on similar projects in both automotive and chemical manufacturing. Patrick's educational background consists of two bachelor's degrees in Electrotechniek and Meet & Regeltechniek from Hogeschool Antwerpen and Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, respectively.
