Jonathan Parkes

Jonathan Parkes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jonathan started their career at Capita as a Marketing Manager in the Outsourced HR Services Division and later became an External Relations Manager at Constructionline. Following this, they joined Subsea 7 as a Global Contracts & Tendering Manager and Legal Counsel. Jonathan then worked at Integrated Subsea Services Ltd as a Global Contracts Manager & Legal Counsel before moving to Hallin Marine. At Hallin Marine, they held the positions of Commercial Director, Deputy Managing Director & Commercial Director, and Managing Director, Western Hemisphere. After that, they served as the Managing Director and Director at Catalage Limited. Currently, Jonathan is working at James Fisher and Sons plc. Jonathan has worked as a Strategy Consultant and Interim Strategy, Sales, and Marketing Director at JFD Global. Jonathan also served as the Divisional Director in various divisions, including Business Excellence and Portfolio Advancement, Energy Division, Strategy, Sales & Commercial, Marine Contracting Division, and Marine Support Division. Additionally, they were also the Director for Africa at James Fisher and Sons plc. Overall, Jonathan Parkes has demonstrated their expertise and leadership abilities through their extensive work experience in strategy, sales, commercial, and management roles.

Jonathan Parkes has a degree in LLB (Hons) Europe with French from Nottingham Trent University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Jonathan also completed a Diplome universitaire en droit francais fondamental at the University of Montpellier from 1997 to 1998. In 2002, they furthered their education at the Inns of Court School of Law, London, where they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from 2002 to 2004. Jonathan then pursued a Barrister (unregistered, formerly non-practising) degree at Inner Temple in 2005. In 2020, they completed a Chartered Director (CDir) degree at the Institute of Directors (IoD). Lastly, in 2023, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from The Lean Six Sigma Company.
