Dr Mushfiq Akanda

Dr. Mushfiq Akanda is a Senior Associate Pharmaceutical Development Scientist at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, leading projects within the Drug Product Development team. Previously, as a Senior Associate R&D Scientist at GW Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Akanda focused on formulation and process development of oral dosage forms. Dr. Akanda's academic background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and extensive experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Greenwich, where involvement included designing parenteral products and supervising student research projects. Dr. Akanda's contributions extend to professional leadership as Co-Chair of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences, along with earlier roles in library and retail management.
