Melinda Whyman

Melinda Whyman is an experienced outreach worker currently employed at Jesuit Social Services since September 2022, where responsibilities include delivering support services for individuals impacted by suicide within Gippsland and Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Networks. In addition, Melinda serves as a community activator for Tender Funerals Greater Eastern Melbourne, a not-for-profit project aimed at creating meaningful and affordable funeral services. From June 2018 to June 2022, Melinda held the position of holistic funeral director and adult care team lead at Natural Grace Holistic Funeral Care, focusing on family-led funeral care practices. Melinda's educational background includes diplomas in homeopathic medicine, clinical nutrition, herbalism, and naturopathic medicine from multiple institutions, along with specialized training in applied suicide intervention skills.
