Ai Thai

Ai Thai began their work experience in 2014 as a Physics & Engineering Tutor at Green River College. In 2016, they worked as a Maintenance Control Center Intern at Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) before moving on to Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017, where they served as an Aero Maker Space Mentor. In the same year, Ai Thai also worked as a Repair Process Engineer - Co-Op at Delta TechOps. They continued gaining experience at Delta TechOps in 2018 as an Engine Technology and Repair Development Engineer - Co-Op and in 2019 as a Project Engineer - Co-Op. Ai Thai then joined Delta Air Lines in 2019 as a Reliability Engineer - Co-Op and later as an Engineering Project Manager I in 2020. Currently, they are employed as a Data Scientist at Joby Aviation since October 2020. During their time at Joby Aviation, Ai Thai also worked as an Intern in Data Analytics, where they focused on data processing, cleaning, and analysis, as well as collaborating with various groups to create data analysis tools and visualizations.

Ai Thai has a strong educational background in both analytics and engineering. From 2015 to 2019, Ai Thai attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Continuing their education, from 2020 to 2023, Ai Thai pursued an Online Master of Science in Analytics from the same institution.

In addition to their degree programs, Ai Thai has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In August 2020, they completed the ISYE6501x: Introduction to Analytics Modeling certification from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In February 2019, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Navy Recruiting Command. Furthermore, in May 2017, they completed the CSE6040x: SP20: Computing for Data Analysis certification, also from the Georgia Institute of Technology. These certifications demonstrate Ai Thai's commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in analytics and data analysis.
