Evan Karl

Evan Karl is a skilled race engineer currently working at Joe Gibbs Racing since June 2021, encompassing roles including Cup #54 Race Engineer, Xfinity #20 Race Engineer, and Xfinity #54 Race Engineer, contributing to the team's achievement as the 2022 Xfinity Series Champions. Alongside this, Evan has been self-employed since January 2015, serving as a Cup Race Team Support Group Engineer, competitive racecar driver, and driver coach in the SCCA Racing Series. Previous experience includes a race team support group engineering internship at Joe Gibbs Racing in 2019, where programming a user interface for quality control was a key responsibility, alongside academic leadership as a resident advisor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
