David Hill has worked in a variety of roles in the food and beverage industry. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Oobli (formerly Joywell Foods) as a Research Associate. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at BERRYESSA BREWING CO. as a Packaging Lead and Brewer. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they worked at Mann Laboratory, University of California, Davis, as a Junior Specialist and Research Assistant. During their time at the laboratory, they maintained culture collections, developed microbiology skills, prepared solutions, and conducted environmental swabbing, enrichment, and isolation.
David Hill obtained their High School Diploma from Roseville High School in 2012. David then attended the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2016. In 2018, they obtained a Brewing Certificate from UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education in Brewing Science. In addition, they hold a Forklift Safety certification from BERRYESSA BREWING CO. obtained in September 2019, as well as a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross obtained in February 2012.
