Daren Sterling

Daren Sterling is an experienced civil engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Client Manager and Project Manager at JR Engineering since 2015, Daren focuses on developing relationships with local government agencies and managing civil engineering projects throughout Colorado. Prior to this role, Daren spent 25 years at the City of Commerce City in various capacities, including City Engineer and Interim Director of Public Works, where responsibilities included budget management, oversight of capital improvement projects, and staff management. Daren began the career as a Design Engineer for several Denver area engineering firms, specializing in the design of subdivisions and commercial sites. Daren holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver.
