Joanna Mikaella Pepino

Joanna Mikaella Pepino, OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist currently working at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation since October 2022. Joanna has diverse experience in occupational therapy through various internships and fieldwork positions, including at The George Washington University Hospital and SENSORY TREE, where Joanna provided skilled evaluations and interventions across different patient demographics. Leadership roles include serving as Co-President of the NYU Class of 2022/Student Occupational Therapy Association, where Joanna led initiatives to support therapy professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic and established a coalition for diversity in occupational therapy. Joanna earned a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Kean University, building a strong foundation in healthcare and rehabilitation.
