Cara R. Anthony

Cara R. Anthony is an accomplished journalist with a diverse background in reporting and news coverage. Currently serving as the Midwest Correspondent for KFF Health News since May 2019, Anthony has previously worked as an Emmy-Nominated Journalist for the Belleville News-Democrat from January 2017 to April 2019, and held roles including Reporter and USA TODAY Network Host at The Indianapolis Star from May 2014 to January 2017. Additional experience includes working as a Night Cops Reporter at the Frederick News-Post, a Junior Reporter at The Daily Press, and completing internships at the Chicago Tribune, Lexington Herald-Leader, and the Belleville News-Democrat. Cara R. Anthony earned a degree in Communications with a focus on Print Journalism from Tennessee State University between 2005 and 2009.
