Alexis Krell is an experienced journalist with over a decade of reporting in Pierce County, currently serving as the Pierce County courts reporter at The News Tribune since January 2012, focusing on municipal, state, and federal court coverage. Previously, Krell worked as a night cops reporter, contributing to crime and breaking news stories, and as a public life team intern, covering the 2012 Washington state legislative session. Prior internships include the business desk at The Seattle Times and the Santiago bureau at Thomson Reuters, where Krell reported on business news.
