Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance with a concentration in derivatives from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business. Carmen also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation and is a Licensed Insurance Health + Life professional, obtained in 2015 and 2014 respectively.
