Peter Dunn has extensive experience in the technology and cybersecurity fields. Peter recently served as the Chief Technology Officer for CDW•G, where they strategically identified and pursued innovative technology products and solutions. Peter also developed comprehensive solutions, established a research and engineering lab, and performed business development activities. Prior to this role, Peter served as the Chief Technology Officer for the Department of Defense and Intelligence communities, where they led technology strategies and implemented cybersecurity programs. Peter also introduced cutting-edge technologies and fostered advancements in data analysis and intelligence gathering. Peter has also held positions as an Executive Technology Strategist and Lead Cybersecurity Instructor at Kingsland University, where they developed course curricula and provided instruction on various cybersecurity topics. Before transitioning to the private sector, Peter gained valuable experience in the United States Air Force, where they served in roles such as Cyber Warfare Training Systems Director and Red Team Lead. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, network systems, offensive and defensive cyber operations, and training and exercise planning.
Peter Dunn achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the American InterContinental University in 2009. Peter then pursued a Master's Degree in Education from the same institution, completing it in 2009 as well. Currently, Peter is enrolled in Northcentral University, where they are pursuing a PhD in Technology and Innovation Management of Cyber Security, with an expected completion in 2023. Additionally, Peter has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Applied AI for Human Resources in 2023 and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning certifications in 2024.
