Erica Thompson

Erica Thompson is a software engineer who currently works for ConvertKit. Erica previously worked as a software engineer for Unicorns & Unicorns, a women & BIPOC owned and led Collective Studio. Thompson has also worked as a content creator for Twitch and as a committee member for D&I: "Principles for Success" for Lambda School. In addition, they have worked as a legislative policy district advocate for The Recording Academy and as a fullstack intern to the CTO & CEO for OnePact, Inc.

Erica Thompson's educational career began with their high school diploma from Northwest Guilford High School. Erica then went on to college, earning a degree in instrumental music education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After working in the music industry for a few years, they decided to return to school to earn a business management degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. In recent years, they have taken courses and received certification in web development from App Academy.
