Mike Menichini

Mike Menichini is an experienced educator and maritime professional currently serving as a Course Team Leader at Knowledge Group LLC since January 2013. In this role, Mike leads and mentors instructors while training classes of 20-50 students in subjects such as maritime English, IRPCS, SAR, security/law enforcement, navigation, seamanship, and small craft operations. Previously, Mike worked as a Maritime/Law Enforcement Instructor, where expertise in waterborne security and operator-level weapons maintenance was utilized. Before joining Knowledge Group LLC, Mike served for over 17 years in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Search & Rescue Boat Operator and Federal Law Enforcement Officer, participating in high-profile operations related to narcotics smuggling and maritime security. Mike's career began in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman, enforcing law and order within military establishments. Educational credentials include a TEFL Certification from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, a Master's in Adult Education from Trident University International, and a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Excelsior University.
